family day outing

For Family Day we took Emily to the Children’s Museum in London.  We have never gone before, Emily had a blast so it was well worth the trip!  Her and Tim played with everything!  There were dinosaurs, sand pits, Robert Munsch room, doctor office, a little town, space ships, old-school school, fire trucks, bugs, slides, etc, etc, etc.  We were there for 2 hours and still had to coax Emily to leave!

little bit of this and a little bit of that

This is who Emily insists sleeps with her every night.  We have quite the routine gathering them all up and putting them to bed.  This was nap time so they aren’t all present, either.

Emily got another package in the mail a few days ago.  Again from the Jackson’s!  She screamed as soon as she saw the picture on the box and hasen’t stopped playing with the marble castle since!

Just a beautiful day outside.

It may not seem like it in this picture, but she is always insisting we do her hair, has lotion on and loves jewelry.

Just a fun picture.

emily gets a surprise!

Today a special surprise came for Emily in the mail.  A surprise for me too!  I had no idea this was coming and thought for a moment that I ordered it, but forgot.  Then I talked to my sister and she said she sent it, yay!  Emily loves her new Spot puppy and the open the flap book about Spot.

Emily

We really haven’t been up to much lately.  Soon we are starting construction on the basement though!  A new bedroom and bathroom will be going in along with a new storage room and rec room.  Our hope is to have the basement be where most of the toys are and the upstairs be geared more for adults.  We will see!  We have foregone a holiday this year for a few reasons and finishing the basement is close to the top of that list.  I cannot wait for it to be finished!!!  Until I can start to post construction photos here are some of Emily…

She loves to take her jacket on and off because she can do it all by herself.  Cheap entertainment!

Colouring, another favourite past time.

Her BFF.

She just got these in the mail, new  rain boots and coat.  The coat is sooo soft!  Highly recommend Western Chief!  Didn’t realize that a size 3 would be sooo big, not sure she will wear it this year.
